Dying Matters

Dying Matters Week 8th - 14th May 2017 - WHAT CAN YOU DO?

For more information, have a look here at the Dying Matters (this link will open in a new window - popups must be allowed) website

Its not too late to start talking about it.  The awareness week is 8th to 14th May 2017 and we are actively encouraging everyone to have the talk with their family, friends and neighbours so that you can plan for a good death - Talk, Plan, Live - so take a moment to think about some of the very practical things that you can prepare for and help your family to carry out your wishes.

Specialist Palliative care teams across Cumbria are aiming to demystify death and dying during Dying Matters Awareness Week 8-14th May.

We are aiming to get people more active in planning for dying and death and helping support those who may need it in times of grief and bereavement, be they friends, family and in the wider community.   WHAT CAN YOU DO? Is the theme for this year.
